RACGP Registrar series - opthalmology

The ‘Registrar series’ continues in 2019 with a full program of relevant workshops designed to assist GP registrars who are working toward fellowship in general practice.

This session will cover the common ophthalmic issues that patients may present to their GP.

Some presentations (eg 'red eye conditions') can become sight threatening and are exhibited through red-flag features, such as moderate pain, photophobia, reduced visual acuity, eye-trauma or unilateral marked redness.

Dr Dru Daniels, Chairman of the Perth Eye Hospital, will discuss these presentations along with appropriate testing and treatment.
