Allocated house depends on the family circumstance and availability at the time. Ideally a place which will be passed from registrar to registrar. We have several one bedroom units in group housing wehere the junior doctors are also housed with assits in social avenues when arriving in a new town.

Evening work: ED Shifts; Night work: Once experienced in emergency; On-call: In area of specialty, Obs and Anaesthetics. Also as surgical assistant and for major incidents affecting the hospital; Nursing home visits: the hospital is situated next door to the residential care facility with approx 60 beds. A patient load is possible to be taken on in conjunction with the MAS if required/desired.
