The Pilbara region in Western Australia has some of the world’s most ancient natural landscapes dating back two billion years and stretching over 400,000 square kilometres. There are over 700 historic Indigenous archaeological sites and 10,000 rock engravings, many dating back some 30,000 years. The Pilbara region is the perfect place to discover the unique artwork, history and culture of the local Indigenous people. The Pilbara region also boasts a large number of natural attractions such as the Dampier archipelago, the stunning gorges of the Karijini National Park and the Millstream – Chichester National Park.
If you’re looking to see the ‘Australian Outback’, by seeking out hidden water holes, going camping with friends, fishing and watersports, learning about the local culture and language, all you need to do is come live and work in the Pilbara to 'live the dream!'
