Yes. Denmark Medical Centre is affiliated with Southern Regional Medical Group -in Albany. Registrars will be involved with both practices. Accommodation will be provided in consultation with SRMG and the Registrar.

About the practice

Denmark Medical Centre (DMC) has been established since 1995 servicing Denmark, Walpole, Peaceful Bay and surrounds. It is an eight (8) doctor practice.  We provide a broad range of services, including all aspects of general practice, minor surgery, paediatrics, antenatal care, aged care, preventive medicine and mental health care. Our GPs have admitting rights at the Denmark Health Service, and there is the opportunity to provide inpatient care, emergency department cover and nursing home care.

There is a special emphasis on Medical Education within the practice and both undergraduates and postgraduates are encouraged to take advantage of the wealth of experience available both through the clinical setting as well as the GP mentors in a very supportive environment. Trainee doctors attached to the practice will be given every opportunity to grow in confidence, decision making and acquire many practical skills.

DMC employs a Registered Nurse and has a fully equipped treatment room where minor procedures are carried out. DMC is centrally located in the CBD, it is fully computerised and has skilled, supportive staff.
