North Street Medical Centre provides a quality health care service in a friendly environment to benefit the health and well being of patients, doctors and staff.Demography of Patients
Practice population is approx 6,000. There is a wide variety of patients ranging from neonate to geriatric, very wealthy to very poor, with a diversity of problems. Midland is an area of growth in population, retail and housing making it an exciting place to work.Transport
The surgery is an 8 minute walk from Midland train station. The train leaves from Perth train station every 15 minutes (more frequently during peak hours) and the ride takes 25 minutes. The Practice
Located in the heart of Midland, North Street Medical Centre prides itself on a fully air conditioned purpose built practice and well equipped doctors’ rooms and treatment facilities. The waiting room is equipped with two information televisions keeping the patients up-to-date on current information while also adding a bit of humour into their waiting time. They can watch the large fishtank while they wait, take a look at our waiting room display which rotates monthly supporting a range of causes and providing information to patients on preventative health issues. There is an extensive range of pamphlets and brochures available to the patients and the doctors both in the waiting room and in the administration area.
Making things easier for patients and doctors, the complex also includes a pharmacy and a physiotherapy and pathology centre. Many allied health professionals such as psychologists, hearing specialists, hand occupational therapists and a dietitian also work from the premises. Our nurse manager is also a diabetic educator.
