Practice Aims & Philosophy

Our Mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. Collie River Valley is committed to promoting wellness and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with due respect.

This medical practice is a procedural orientated general practice offering obstetrics, anaesthetics, minor general surgery and gynaecological procedures as well as General Practcie consulting. This practice enables all Doctors to practice autonomous medicine to the extent of their individual capabilities but also encourages the use of their experienced rural GP colleagues if needed.

Practice Highlights

  • Complete autonomy of practice with full support of experienced GP's in a modern well equipped surgery.
  • Ability to follow through patient care from rooms to Collie District Hospital (if needed)
  • A one in five on-call (not too arduous)
  • 40 minutes from Bunbury and only just over 2 hours from Perth
  • Flexibility of shifts - the ability to finish early and start late Monday
