Nancy enjoys the vast variety of work that PRIVATE GENERAL PRACTICE offers as well as enjoying the support of Dr Singh and other Dr's and staff and the collaborative approach of BMC in regards to implementing routines and policies that benifit patients, the clinic and creates overall job enjoyment and satisfaction. In 2007 Nancy was given approval and recognition to train for IUD and Implanon insertion (THE ONLY NURSE IN AUSTRALIA AT THE TIME TO BE GRANTED APPROVAL) which now means that patients no longer need to be referred to a specialist and experience the lengthy delays for such procedures. TESTIMONIAL Dr KIAT TANG ADVANCED TERM JUNE-DEC 2007

"The team at BMC and practice principal, Dr Harpreet Singh, made for a great training term in Broome. This busy but very well-supported job offered opportunity for a wide range of educational experiences and good remuneration. Dr. Harps was also a wealth of knowledge and experience. A thoroughly enjoyable term with a fun and very enthusiastic supervisor and teacher, a friendly and supportive team of practice staff, and comfortable accommodation provided. All this in the setting of a truly fascinating town in the beautiful Kimberley region, with its rich history, an amazing mix of cultures, and stunning sunsets and camel rides on the glorious Cable Beach. Highly recommended!"

PROFILE
Community Resident Testimonial: Dr Nicholas Gray Dr Nicholas Gray

I was involved in the Community Residency Project in its pilot year, 2007, working part time in the Paediatrics Department and the remainder of the time in General Practice in the Bunbury region. I chose this term as I was particularly interested in General Practice (I am now a GP Registrar in the Northern Territory) but also wanted to keep my skills in hospital based medicine, in case I found GP was not to my liking.
