Dr Clare Willix
Dr Clare Willix MBBS, DRANCOG, FRACGP has lived in Kalgoorlie for six years and has worked at Bega since 2004. Clare is a FRACGP examiner, the Medical Coordinator with the Rural Clinical School and the Goldfields Regional Training Advisor for WAGPET Registrars.
Dr Patricia Pintor-Tangarorang
Dr Patricita Pintor-Tangarorang MD CFP is a Family Medicine Practitioner from Cebu, Philippines. She has been practising medicine for 13 years and has worked at Bega since February 2007.
Dr Faiza Farhan
Dr Faiza Farhan MBBS AMC trained at King Edward Medical University in Pakistan qualifying in 1997. She has been working in Australia for 5 years and commenced work at Bega in February 2007. Prior to this she worked in ED at Bunbury Regional Hospital.
Dr Juliette Frost
Dr Juliette Frost FRACGP, MBBS, Dip PAEDS completed her medical degree at UWA in 2000. She grew up in Carnarvon and has always had an interest in rural general practice. She has worked in several regional areas in WA and commenced at Bega in July 2007. Juliette is the regional GP Registrar Liaison Officer and also sits on the Board of the Goldfields Esperance GP Network.
Ms Carolyn Green
Manager Health Services-
Carolyn trained in London as a Registered Nurse but in the last 16 years has worked chiefly in the finance sector and managed medical facilities. Carolyn has been at Bega since 2005 and is responsible for service outcomes and reporting to Government agencies for Health and Environmental Health projects.

About Bega...
Bega Garnbirringu Health Services is an Aboriginal controlled, not-for-profit organisation that provides an holistic and culturally appropriate health care service to the Aboriginal people of the Goldfields from our modern, purpose built clinic in central Kalgoorlie. Bega is a fully accredited practice and meets the RACGP 3rd edition Standards.
Doctors work alongside Registered Nurses, a part-time Midwife and Aboriginal Health Workers. A number of medical specialists regularly visit our centre, including a dentist. Bega holds an S100 Licence which allows us to dispense medications to our clients free of charge from our on-site pharmacy. Child care facilities are available at our creche free of charge for clients and for a small fee for staff.
As well as participating in training programs for GP Registrars, Bega also hosts undergraduate medical students from the University of WA and Notre Dame University, students nurses and Aboriginal Health Worker trainees. The clinic employs around 20 staff while Bega as a whole employs around 65 staff throughout the organisation.
Rotational on call services provided by our doctors to Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital are paid for directly to the doctor on call by WA Country Health and is in addition to remuneration from Bega. Bega offers Registrars paid annual leave, study leave and generous salary packaging options.
