WAGPET launches the MyGP campaign
A WAGPET regional community initiative celebrating GPs in the regions.
General practitioners are specialists. Like all specialists, from anaesthetists to neurosurgeons, when a qualified doctor chooses to specialise as a GP, they undergo an extended period of specialisation training as a registrar.
WAGPET trains junior doctors to be GPs in medical practices across WA. We’ve been doing that work for the last 15 years.
To celebrate 15 years of training doctors to become outstanding GPs, WAGPET is launching MyGP, a regional community initiative.
We will be launching the MyGP campaign this week in the Great Southern region of WA. We want to thank the Great Southern community for hosting our GP registrars and recognise our many GP registrars, supervisors and practices past and present for their support of GP training.
On Friday, 1 December, you will find us at the Chester Park Mall from 9am to 12pm. At our stall, we’ll be asking people what they love about their GP. Come by and see us, share what you love about your GP and pick up some great freebies.
