Applications now open for $40,000 grant for GPs to train in anaesthetics or obstetrics
GPs practising in ASGS RA 2-5 locations are invited to apply for the grant funding.
GPs practising in ASGS RA 2-5 locations are invited to apply for grant funding to undertake the 'Advanced Rural Skills Training in Anaesthesia' or gain the qualification 'DRANZCOG Advanced'. Successful applicants will receive a total of $40,000 over a two-year period under the General Practitioner Procedural Training Support Program (GPPTSP).
The anaesthetics component is managed by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the obstetrics component by RANZCOG. The online application form is available now on the ACRRM website. Applications will be assessed against the selection criteria set out in the GPPTSP guidelines and must be received by COB Thursday, 23 November 2017 to be eligible for consideration.
