WAGPET Congratulates Award Recipients
WAGPET would like to congratulate the following award recipients for 2008:
RACGP Western Australia General Practice of the Year Award - Ocean Keys Family Practice
The Ocean Keys Family Practice in Clarkson, was named the winner of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners’ (RACGP) Western Australia General Practice of the Year Award for 2008.
The General Practice of the Year Award recognises the outstanding work of general practices; the commitment of the practice to accreditation; the standard of facilities offered to patients and staff; and the services offered to the local community.
The National Rural Faculty General Practice Registrar of the Year Award - Dr Inga Shea
Dr Inga Shea was named the National Rural Faculty General Practice Registrar of the Year for 2008.
The National Rural Faculty General Practice Registrar of the Year Award recognises the outstanding work of rural general practice registrars; commitment to rural general practice and to learning, the services to rural patients, the practice and education and the services to the rural community.
PMCWA Junior Doctor Award – Dr Carlo Bellini
Dr Carlo Bellini received the inaugural PMCWA Junior Doctor Award for his significant contribution to education and training and the betterment of all junior doctors in the state. Carlo was also nominated as the WA finalist for the national award.
