Prospective Applicants
WAGPET delivers the GP training program throughout WA and provides prevocational training opportunities through the Community Residency Program and the Prevocational GP Placement Program.
2009 Placement Process
Each year WAGPET undertakes a complex matching process to allocate GP Registrars to their training placements for the coming year. The 2009 placement process is currently underway for Registrars and Training Practices.
Regions in Focus
WAGPET has 11 training regions in which GP Registrars and prevocational doctors undertake training. Training Posts in these regions are accredited with either or both the RACGP and ACRRM and prevocational training posts are accredited with PMCWA.
